The HOUSEKEEPER

I flipped the page, in my head trying to stay on the right side and leave the past on the left and out of my mind. Had to do it, cause shit was getting heavy on me sometimes. I decided that this time around I won't quit, cause I'm like one of those sons of bitches that just refuse to die. So gone with DJ Andrejko, name that no one could pronounce right and settle on a name that makes sense, The HOUSEKEEPER. I'm keeping it all right a white fucking Eastern European trying to make my way spinning mostly house in predominantly black clubs in America ain't the best fit, yet I'm trying to earn my keep and every now and then I do all right cause people ask me to send them my latest zip file with my shit and that ain't too shabby either. I can't touch these guys here selection wise, cause I ain't been born here to have that ear all the way, but eventually I'll get it. Yeah, like when I'm seventy!!! Sheeeeet. Good music is still out there and I'm split between the European progressive market and traditional soulful afro house world of Southern clubs on the East Coast. Plus the industry is pretty much fucked backwards now against what it used to be back in the early day. Still, I will try my best, although time to leave those heavy Pioneer one's and two's back at the house cause I've fucked up my back pretty much on every single gig I did for the past two years. There are folks that took care to tune in for the past what two years now? I will not give up on that. Let me tell you, there is a ton of bad music out there and bunch of good music out there at the same time. The trick is to know how to find it. I see guys nowdays putting all the work into promotion, production, building the new crowds constantly, selling tickets and end up spinning the same shit I've heard them spinning a year ago cause they ain't got time to find new music. I don't think that's good. I also see out of towners always fucking come in on a gravy train scoop up the money while the local guys pull the weight building up the scene. That ain't right either. Always promote your local guy, no matter who that is new or unknown or known. Eventually the new guys will become the big names. Hopefully....I appreciate ya guys. HOUSE FOR LIFE!!! roman
