Katø is Kevin & Kani, a DJ duo from Utrecht, Netherlands, born from a shared obsession with underground house and the culture around it.

Our sound moves between deep house, UK-influenced house, rolling grooves and deep basslines. We dig for records with character raw drums, heavy low-end, subtle details and grooves that reveal themselves over time. Inspired by artists and sounds ranging from Kerri Chandler and Sidney Charles to Jordan Peak, Tripmastaz and the raw energy of the Dungeon Meat scene, while always searching for our own direction.

For us, a DJ set is a story. It’s about timing, tension and knowing when to let a record breathe. We like to build slowly, create movement and take people somewhere without forcing the moment.

After playing at Geheime Liefde, NAR and Radio Birdcage, we’re continuing to build Katø one set, one record and one dancefloor at a time.
