My journey to becoming a DJ has been an organic one.I began taking piano lessons at the age of 3, along with dance in the form of Ballet and Jazz, and continued both for 15 years. My musical interests led me to drumming, specifically West African Drumming which I studied intensely for 6 years, including an immersive stay in Togo, West Africa to study the rhythms from their roots. My life in dance found its way to African dance, and then finally to parter dancing in the form of Hustle, which I did competitively for 6 years. The underlying thread in these art forms is music. I have loved all kinds of music throughout my entire life.House music has now found a place in my heart. The rhythms can be so intricately layered, and the music is so upbeat and positive, that wherever its played, people are always dancing. My goal is to provide fun, happy, mixes of music that bring people together in community to share the common language of dance.
