This is the philosophy of DJ and producer Daniele De Marchi.
There can be no evolution without research, taste comes from research and evolution is a natural consequence of experience.From the very beginning DDM has been fascinated by the technical virtuosity applied to the manual skills that the vinyl support entails.In 1999 he won the national TDK On Tape competition dedicated to emerging DJs and organized by the famous brand in collaboration with Radio Italia Network.In 2000 De Marchi was at the helm of the techno room at Mirò in Lignano Sabbiadoro, one of the largest and most famous clubs in Italy. Within a scene full of progressive and techno DJs, DDM stands out as one of the first to push tech house in the North East.In just 3 years of residency in this club, he gets more acclaim than there has been in a decade.
In his musical journey he has shared the console with important national and international names such as Steve Angello, Umek, Silicone Soul, Adam Beyer, Crookers, Cirillo, Francesco Zappalà, Saccoman, Hector Romero, Krisma to name a few.The ability to build a mood in its sets transports the clubber to feel fully involved, DDM is a guarantee of selection and musical taste.
DDM's unique and refined style has moved over the years and now sees it placed between Tech and DeepHouse, with Cosmic and Funky influences.His console signature is characterized by percussion grooves, deep bass lines and synths instantly recognizable by his peers and fans.Since 2001 he has been working as a producer at the same time.
He worked in the studio alongside Brainbug (author of the world hits Nightmare, Benedictus and Rain on Emi Records).
He has made many productions with different pseudonyms both on physical and digital format, venturing into genres ranging from techno to house.
“DiaDema” is the psudonym that hides a Minimal parenthesis in the world of his productions: very simple but effective pieces, percussion and obsessive rhythms. This is how it got the position # 6 in the Minimal chart of the Beatport portal.In 2018 he won the Strictly Vynil dj competition at the Cassiopeia Club in Berlin on the occasion of the Sample Music Festival.
